On the 4th Sunday of each month, the worship service is held in the Church Hall. Whilst the order of service follows the same pattern as a usual worship service, this gathering of people is more informal and we all sit at a table of approximately 8 people.
People often start off the service with a cup of tea or coffee and there are biscuits and, sometimes, delicious cake on the tables. There is often a group activity time and people have an option of whether and where they would like to participate. At this time we usually get (another?) cup of tea and coffee in this half way mark of the service.
This is a great way to worship in a community atmosphere.
The readings and message from the service still follows on the lines of the UCA lectionary path.
