Introduction to the Reverend David Kim.
Rev David Kim, the Minister of the Word at the Healesville Yarra Glen Uniting Church, is passionate about sharing the love of God and engaging people of all ages and of diverse backgrounds. He is keen on preaching, teaching, and equipping people for the sake of Christian discipleship. Sharing God’s grace, he is eager to grow mature together in Christ.
David has arrived in this beautiful Yarra Valley area after having served the churches in their congregational ministries in New South Wales. He had ministered multiple congregations in his placements in various settings. Throughout those ministries, he has gained unique and valuable ministry experiences of bonding multiple groups of people together, supporting and developing team ministries.
David enjoys the variety of ministries and mission activities and taking care of people around him. He would love to see you to come and join our worship and fellowship together here. In his spare time, he likes to travel, listen to music, and go for hikes and walks.
Upcoming Events
Join us at Healesville on the 20th October at 11am for worship followed at 12pm by a celebration of the Walking Together sculpture by Untie Kim Wandin at the front of the church and a shared lunch.
